My
name is Antonia Bottoni-Cercena', I was born in Cape Town South Africa
and grew up in the north of Italy in a city called Bergamo.
I have three passions:
- Cooking for people, watching them eat and enjoy themselves.
- Experiencing the metamorphic powers of giving a massage.
- Enjoying a meal at The Pot Kiln restaurant owned by Mike and Katherine
Robinson.
Although I still love cooking (I'm a qualified chef) and do
cook as part of my complementary services, I needed a break from the cheffing
frenzy in London and decided to do something just as rewarding.
Soon after qualifying in Anatomy and Physiology, Holistic Massage and
Business Awareness, I started volunteering as a practitioner.
I have participated in charity events such as the London Marathon Motor
Neuron Disease charity runners, Multiple Sclerosis charity runners, Thames
Festival, Sure Start, Breast Feeding Awareness, and the list goes on.
I
have been working for Pete Dixon, therapist and owner of The
Healing Tent Healthy Living For London as a self-employed practioner,
as well as treating clients outside the Clinic offering home visits.
My
partner and I also are Directors of Equilibrium
House Beach Retreat in Goa, where we rent out accommodations, offer
treatments and more
